Lightness Of The Expression
A note from my journal follows, "When we express ourselves in any form of energy, there is a lightness that comes with it. Moving the body is a way to understand emotions and make sense of the walls or the limitless thoughts I might have—my anger, happiness, loss, hope, and poetry through anatomy."
This piece explores Ari's emotions in a very spontaneous setting. As we were hiking with her, I asked if she could move her body without thinking of the principles of the movement but just being free and letting the emotions flow, and this piece came to life within half an hour.
As a documentary filmmaker, I enjoy momentary sparkles of beings. They are raw. Maybe not as cinematic or written and well made as possible; I actually feel the rawest connection when I do things not as planned and mostly by myself.
JAHMAI
This film is about a young man named Jahmai who is connection to nature is strong but access to it is limited. I look forward to a world where everyone has equal access to Mother Nature, to our natural habitat. Trees, stones, the soil have the power to regenerate healing in your soul and body. Running in cities we often forget the hunter-gatherer side that has been living barefoot on the soil for over 300,000 years. We, humans, after the Neolithic revolution, built the cities and became city dwellers and started to live in this system just a few thousand years ago. NO, we haven’t adapted. Our bodies and mind still struggle with this unnatural change. So when we listen to Mother Nature we go back to the lessons we needed to learn, or the guidance we need at this moment. Nature heals. Protect, preserve and love it.
Good Morning Luise
This is a film about my friend Luise and her morning routine in Austria with her deep connection to her garden. Luise is one of the most inspiring friends I have. Her positive look at life is sacred. Enjoy a piece of Austrian life and flowers.
Moving Within
If you move with nature you will understand that you are nature. Voice recording in this short piece is from my field journal recordings. Let´s move our body, and go with nature.
The Weight We Carry
“The weight of the world is love. Under the burden of solitude, under the burden of dissatisfaction, the weight, the weight we carry is love. ”
I was listening to Allen Ginsberg while watching this view and I decided to record this only for sharing the love.

Becoming a Wildflower
There is something really rare inside. A language that is unspoken, A glimpse of the unseen. To see, to breathe in and to hear what they have to say. The lands speak to me, and it dresses up with colors whenever I behold them and to become one of them. This movie is about exploring our wild side. The side that has been kept captive for a long time. // My dialogues with nature have always been about "becoming". The circle of becoming brought colors to my life with experiences. I look into a flower and see my mother, brother, father that are far away now. Nature became my home for many years, and her wildflowers; my guidance. Thank you.
